since gst-plugins-bad0.10 (0.10.8.2-1) there is an MP2 encoding plugin
available based on TwoLAME. Please add an audio profile to make use of
the feature e.g. in sound-juicer. Rationale: Many cheep MP3 players
are able to play MP2
Loic's patch is not so about the *number* of file descriptors
but about the *largest* file descriptor that can be used in
netcat.
The previous behaviour (FD_SETSIZE set to 16) only allows for

Uvesafb framebuffer driver needs v86d userspace program
but when fb driver is modprobed at init-top stage of initrd,
/dev/zero and /dev/mem are missing because udev have not
been run yet.
