Actually, that's not quite correct. Althogh inserting the headphones
correctly mutes the speakers, if I mute and unmute the Master channel
while headphones are plugged in, the laptop's speakers return to life.

Just some thoughts, is it feasible to do something about it in postinst scripts?
If trac is deployed as wsgi or fcgi script, a httpd restarting should
be done after Trac gets upgraded.
Or is it possible to add some upgrade message about 'manually
