After fixing the bug I noticed that the Zabbix server also uses fping6, I

I see this problem as well.
Go to the Edit Preferences Audio Tab. My version had the Audio Device
set to /dev/dsp, which doesn't exist on my system. Changing this to
default fixed the problem for me.
