Looks like java-gnome 4.1.1 is buildable in unstable and testing once libnotify 0.7 will be in them. libnotify 0.7 is already in unstable. You don't need to wait until it reaches testing. Actually, without java-gnome being updated fot libnotify 0.7, libnotify 0.7 *can't* transition to testing.
