According to the README, middle-clicking on the desklet would open the image in
an external program, but this does not work. It is a combination of using an
unescaped command-line to pass file names (which fails if there are spaces),

- sf_open_fd returns in two cases with an error without closing fd
when close_desc is TRUE, whereas most other cases go though
psf_open_file which does close it.
This means a user can't know if they need to close fd on their own
on error.

this bug means that all the packages that build-depend on gdc (22

It was discovered [1] that there's an issue in how automake handles
temp directories.
When the destination directory does not exist, install-sh checks if
"mkdir -p" works, but it does so in an insecure way. Here are the
relevant parts of the code:
