I noticed that the bug can't be reproduced on a GNOME/Wayland session. I

I just wanted to +1 the updated AppArmor profile attached to the bug
report. I suspect there will be a number of users who have their msmtp
configured with passwordeval as per the ArchLinux wiki [1], so
supporting this configuration

It installed fine in 'stable', then the upgrade to 'sid' fails

I haven't looked at things in detail, but I agree with Yuriys previous
comment that this is likely not a good idea.
I know from past experience that /proc contents is very architecture
specific so you likely need the version built for the same
architecture/kernel

Another reason this bug makes no sense is there's no 5.18 references at
all in src:mono, and it doesn't depend on anything externally which
could add it.
