Package: gnome-music
Version: 3.36.4.1-1
Severity: wishlist
Control: block -1 by 964376
The new upstream release of gnome-music requires Tracker 3, so I haven't
attempted to build it. Preliminary version here:

Package: src:linux
Version: 5.8.7-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

step to reproduce :
- install debian testing a bit old (2020-08) with 5.7 kernel
-> ethernet works normally
- do the upgrades (which installs 5.8 kernel)
- reboot to 5.8

There is the same issue with the 4.19.132-1 Linux kernel from stable.
I've done more tests, and from a VT shortly after the boot,
"memhog 15320M" was fine, but "memhog 15350M" gave errors in
the console after some time, same as in the dmesg output below.

Since it's the absence of hostnamectl/hostnamed when not using systemd
that's the issue, could you ship a "README.sysvrc" requesting that the
following be created?

I would be happy to adopt, I am familiar with the source and very
familiar with the libraries it uses.

Would you be willing to sponsor? :^)
Hello,
this is really strange, nothing changed in permissions... can you please try
with a newer version?

Dear Maintainer,

found 960132 4.1-1
severity 960132 serious
Justification for "serious":
This bug causes a shipped service (mdcheck_start.service) to completely
fail to start, due to the fact that its script
(/usr/share/mdadm/mdcheck) does not exist. A package should not release
in that state.
