Hi. I'm experiencing the same bug, and after some investigation, it seems the hang happens when evolution tries to show a mail. After moving the .evolution folder, it started normally, and downloaded normally mails from the server, but as soon as I click on one of these mails to view it, evo hangs with the "formatting message" line.
