Thanks for the information. The U3500 results with the liquorix kernel are unexpected. I thought that performance events would be completely disabled, but that's not the case. I'll try to figure out why it doesn't crash.

My issue looks the same as that of Kazimierz, but I have a VIA Nano L2200 with VX800 chipset. I upgraded from buster to bullseye. The 5.10.13-1 kernel panics during boot, but the system boots when I use the old buster 4.19.171-2 kernel. Panic message (full boot messages attached): [
