When trying to build older versions of Perl, perlbrew fails immediately
after downloading if a patch program isn't installed. It tries to
pre-patch Configure but cannot. The resulting log (build.perl-5.8.8.log

users from confusion and frustration, especially if they've never

compatible to the original Unix cal command, because its output is
processed by other programs like CGI scripts, that should not be
broken.

The Match Game quote at the end of /usr/share/games/fortunes/humorists,
has a couple of small errors.
First, the The young people are very different... ditty is
misattributed. His name is Nipsey Russell, not Lipsy Russell. (This
in the passwd file that existed prior to installation of that new
version? Maybe do something similar to the naive approach once, to
pre-fill the state file?
