Source: luajit
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

As mentioned in this github issue
(https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/10895#event-4283568733), I
built Minetest from source and run it with luajit from the Debian repo.
The game crashed (segfault) when doing some luajit function call.

I have tried to uninstall luajit from the Debian repo and built luajit from
source (https://github.com/LuaJIT/LuaJIT, branch v2.1). Minetest doesn't
crash in this case. In the github issue, sfan5 also reported that the
game works fine on Arch Linux ARM. Therefore, I think there are problems
in the Debian luajit build for arm64. Maybe the version is too old that
something has been fixed in the luajit v2.1 branch, or some Debian
specific patches break luajit for arm64.

Best,
Adrian
