of tcl has been contacted but he says that a version without thread is provided for this : tcl 8.3. To test it, I have modified the debian rules file to use tcl 8.3 instead 8.4 and all is working now. Could you provide a version of expect that use tcl 8.3 ? Thanks in advance, Alain Degreffe
