Package: libmutter0 Version: 3.4.1-5 Severity: important Tags: upstream Intel 865G (and below) hardware has no support for full GL_ARB_texture_non_power_of_two gnome-shell/clutter/cogl (whatever's responsible) used to handle things correctly just using GL_ARB_texture_rectangle
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have a Intel 865G GPU 2. Try to use gnome-shell in Debian Wheezy or 1. Be using Debian Wheezy 2. gnome-shell --cogl-debug=disable-npot-textures --replace Actual results: Windows don't have their contents. Gnome-shell is unusable. Expected results: Windows show their contents. Relevent information: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=813648 This could be fixed by patches in version 3.4.1, so that users who have Intel pre-915 GPU can enjoy the experience of gnome-shell in Gnome 3. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=zh_HK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=zh_HK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libmutter0 depends on: ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.4.2-2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.4.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-37 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.12.2-2 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-2 ii libcanberra-gtk3-0 0.28-5 ii libcanberra0 0.28-5 ii libclutter-1.0-0 1.10.8-2 ii libcogl-pango0 1.10.2-6 ii libcogl9 1.10.2-6 ii libffi5 3.0.10-3 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libgirepository-1.0-1 1.32.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.33.12+really2.32.4-3 ii libgtk-3-0 3.4.2-4 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libjson-glib-1.0-0 0.14.2-1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii libstartup-notification0 0.12-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1 ii libxcomposite1 1:0.4.3-2 ii libxcursor1 1:1.1.13-1 ii libxdamage1 1:1.1.3-2 ii libxext6 2:1.3.1-2 ii libxfixes3 1:5.0-4 ii libxi6 2:1.6.1-1 ii libxinerama1 2:1.1.2-1 ii libxrandr2 2:1.3.2-2 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.7-1 ii mutter-common 3.4.1-5 libmutter0 recommends no packages. libmutter0 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
