/usr/sbin/update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree treats all "apt-get update"
output to stderr as an ERROR.
When "apt-get update" gives the (weak digest) Warning
update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree fails.

I was having the same problem as you WRT: The mouse cursor wanders
around a lot, esp. when a finger is resting on it, making precise
