Yes, I have not specifically tested this situation with a newer distro install
but I looked at the nis init script which appears to have been moved to the
ypbind-mt package, and the invocation of start-stop-daemon for starting ypbind
does not pass --pidfile.

ipp-usb has taken control of the USB endpoints detailed above and
libsane-hpaio is unable to access them. This is a consquence of how
IPP-over-USB interworks with USB. It is not a bug in either ipp-usb
or libsane-hpaio.

limited. However, I have a minimal unstable installation (base
system plus only cups) and can reproduce this behaviour. The last
line (but not the first) disappears when cups-browsed is purged.
