That dialog asking to restart the file manager is there to do that, so
that average users are not confused when the extension doesn't work
after being

Updating Nautilus should fix the issue.
For some reason, the "--no-desktop" command-line argument wasn't
working in that version of Nautilus, and that

I released a new version of the extension as upstream.
I added a warning message that is displayed the first time the users
selection one of the extension's actions.
The Debian package will also contain a warning in debian/control description.

And the upstream changelog is indeed detected in Debian. But you still
