disabling the PHP5 module completely solves the problem.

Sorry for so much traffic, but I bring good news. I just upgraded all of my
MySQL packages to 'testing' and now everything appears to work

Are you still experiencing it? If so which distribution do you
use? Debian testing/unstable contain version 5.0.30+ which
should be unaffected.
I obviously missed the Dec 2005 resolution in reportbug.

1. I'm still having very frequent blanking of the message pane.
2. The Disconnected IMAP account type does not work AT ALL for me.
Thanks.

Hello, I'm back. On Mon Mar 21 00:25:23 2005, [EMAIL PROTECTED] told me
that the message list blanking problem was fixed from 3.3.2 (-2 i think).
I still had the problem, so I decided to upgrade to the latest KDE stable
version of KMail:

I've got an odd bug that just cropped up. Perhaps its my service
provider, but outside my home network (i.e., everyone who looks at my

For example, this image won't

looking at to see the folder contents again.
Often right after KMail pulls this stunt it crashes... hard. I've
attached a trace from the latest occurence of this nasty bug.
