Hi all,
Thanks for the interest in the project. There are a few concerns I have,
first is that we do not have the resources to maintain this.
The second one is that the project sometimes follows the pace of the
browsers to do new releases. Which means a new version every 6 weeks. We

The debian folder is here:
https://github.com/jitsi/libjitsi/tree/master/resources/install, but
everything is build using the ant in the main folder. Some of the docs
maybe outdated due to the changes I've described previously.

When building upstream with "mvn package" produces jar which is OSGi enabled.
Bug#736773 will be fixed using workaround, but depends on fixing this one.

Java dialogs cannot control the appearance/disappearance of a window's close
button. Eclipse (which uses SWT) also lacks the close button in Gnome,
so we assume this is a problem with a theme design.

We have dependency on libbcpkix-java, but while building libjitsi
library a symlink to that lib is missing.
Working on updating the package and will fix it.

Hi,
_JITSI_LIBAV_ is always defined when building the debian package. In
upstream we use ffmpeg.
The problem you see is because of the update of libav package to
version 0.9... This will be fixed while fixing bug#719517.
Currently looking at it.

Hi,
we never have tried using other arches, although we had some reports
of building for them (some arm arches), of course the only problem can
be some of the natives we use. And never had tested there also.

Hi,
yes for different operating system we download spellchecks from our
location on user request. Till now we haven't make use of any locally
installed dictionaries, but we will be working on that, to provide use
of debian installed dictionaries if any.

Hi,
we will be working on this these days, hope to provide a fix soon. The
initial effort show there needs to be done some more work cause of a
