It seems that this problem appeared due to the disabling of m3u
EXTVLCOPT options (CVE-2007-6683). Interestingly, vlc creates those
options itself, when saving the pvr parameters in a playlist file.
The problem can be avoided when using pvr://frequency=399250,/dev/video0
instead of the
Package: vlc
Version: 0.8.6-svn20061012.debian-5.1+etch2
Severity: important
If you upgrade to this version, the pvr-frequency setting does not work
anymore (it works with the previous version
0.8.6-svn20061012.debian-5etch1).

have been rotated. The message is generated by savelog. Hence, savelog
should be run in quiet mode:
