Dear Andrew, To answer your questions: We had a home-grown reimaging solution for legacy systems that fit on a 1.44 MB floppy disk (containing partimage), which we replaced in the five years elapsed since I reported the bug and the workaround. I think this bug should R.I.P. but stay on-line
