I first ran fwsnort without cutting any rules out, this resulted in 15000 rules
in the input chain. My i5 -2.6Ghz computer couldn't handle this. With one core

Changing the driver to 'raw queue' on the cups-pdf device seems to return

login.
I updated a number of xlibs, libgcc libstdc++ and
the problem went away. I tried backdating these
libraries but was unable to reproduce the problem

with a few kde and qt apps. With version 3:3.3.6-4 of
the library none of them will start, running from the
