That is a good idea. One of the reasons I kept this otherwise
cumbersome scheme to rename all kinds of stuff in the package is the
idea that it might eventually allow what you are saying: simultaneous
installation of multiple versions.
But it all started, as you say, as a way to allow coexistence
I had the same problem here, and it was fixed just by recompiling the
wavemon package.
I am running a 2.6.14 kernel, and I have the linux-kernel-headers
package (version 2.6.13+0rc3-2) installed.

You are right. My plans for next release are to rename the
rosegarden4 package as rosegarden, and create a new
dummy package rosegarden4 that will depend on the
new package "rosegarden".
Thanks.

is neccesary. Currently libjack is not guaranteing backwards binary
compatibility.

Thanks. I'll try to figure out; it should work the way you did
it. Maybe a bug in update-menus.

Thanks!
Since, AFAICS this is not an issue for sarge release, I guess I will
wait until freeze time before testing and applying this.

Hi!
I have not yet gone through your list, but just a quick guess: Could
this be related to a recent upgrade in your system?
The rosegarden4 package you have was built against kde 3.2. But kde
3.3 has recently entered testing, and is the version you are using.
