I second this bug. I have it too.
Yes, it's certainly still present.
There's a patch in http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug
Package: libdbd-sqlite3-perl
Version: 1.14-3
Severity: minor
Hello maintainers!
I've spent several days in investigating strange problem and it would be
good to deal somehow with it.
SQLite database consists of one file. But, is is unsufficient to have
write rights to this database file to
but nowhere is what man page mentioned.
Sounds good. Thanks for report.

Hello. Thanks for info and patch.
I think it would best to apply this patch (and/or, maybe, some others) to
speedup incremental patching rather than making PDiffs=false the default.

that it has been fixed.
I forgot to say: apt 0.7.16 was installed on 2008-11-02, and
apt 0.7.18 was installed on 2008-11-11.
Thanks for info.

repeated with the appropriate options to force the proxy to fetch the
original file from the mirror again.
This would require some work... Personally, I would not play with apt code to
fix
3rd-party bugs though.

I'm not sure... I'm no power user. All I know is I sometimes have to
do apt-get update twice on my tiny Openmoko phone...
I meant Is the problem reproducable?.

Hello people.
Is bug still reproducible with official debian mirrors with apt = 0.7.16?
If yes, please post the {bz2|gz}ipped output of 'apt-get -o
Debug::acquire::http=1 update'.

Current apt actually has many restrictions without rationale.
For this... What about cloning this bug, but with severity 'minor'?.

Hi,
Hello,
I saw that --no-install-recommends was added, and it's fine, really. Could a
short option (-R, like aptitude?) be added too, so it comes easy?
Yes, sounds good. But after Lenny, I think.
