Stefano,
I have checked the maintainer address in the package, and it is
correct. I received your message and I currently recive also messages
from ubuntu-devel-discuss mailing list.
Could it be a sort of temporary server error?

v. 2.4.2 is quite old and should be removed from repositories.
Baobab is now a component of gnome-utils, since more than 7 months.

Thanks for suggestion, but baobab IS able to scan any remote server
disk thru ssh/ftp/sftp/webdav protocol...

Baobab sorts directory sizes by apparent size. You should show your
toolbar and uncheck the "allocated size" toggle.

Yes, please.
Thanks.

Gintautas,
thanks for your sugegstion. I will take care in next version.
Anyway, you don't have to put many efforts in remembering baobab name,
as it installs in the Menu. More, if you associate in nautilus on a
directory "Open with..." baobab, you will have it ready at any mouse
right-click!

During installation, BUM install a bum.desktop file which runs gksudo bum.
You should not run just 'bum' from the terminal and your screenshot
informs the user that bum requires root privilegies. You should run
"sudo bum" from the terminal, as the documentation says.
This is not a bug.

BUM uses gksudo upon launching.

The package is missing the hydrogen.desktop file
I am attaching it here.

Package: libgtk2-gladexml-perl

libgtk2-gladexml-perl v.1.005-1 is missing the method: signal_connect_after.
All perl programs using that method, report:

Filippo,
that's not a bug, but it is in normal Baobab's behaviour. If you
mount/unmount a device while baobab is running, the properties dialog
pops up to let you include/exclude the new mounted partition.
