I am pretty sure 3.3.0-1 didn't work as well when I tried it
this morning. Anyway, it does work now.. :) The problem seems to be

Yes, I can confirm that! Exporting to all formats provided works fine
now.

After installing fuse-utils as a dependency of sshfs on a newly set up
Debian testing /dev/fuse/ belonged to group root.
Purging and reinstalling sshfs, and therefore also fuse-utils, solved
the problem.

Followup-For: Bug #456935
After updating a lot of packages this morning the problem is gone.
Though I'm not sure if this bug was directly related to
gnome-power-manager. When I replaced gnome-power-manager with
kpowersave some time ago the problem still existed:

restores my home directory including 'dot'-files and 'dot'-directories and
their
content. A command like
