I have just tried to export the root nfs4 directory on a i386
architecture and there /exports is exported on a ext4 filesystem without
problems.
So I assume the problem only occurs on an armel architecture (sheevaplug).
Note: others have identical problems:

following line to /etc/exports:

I have tried the new version of libarc38u on lenny with only the library
itself and its dependencies taken from sid and it worked for me.

I tried the new version from etch-backports, but the problem is not solved.
As far as I understood from other reactions, the problem only exists on
amd64 architecture.

This problem is solved when wpa_supplicant is called with -Dwext instead
of -Dndiswrapper.
WPA works if the router is configured to include the ESSID in the beacon
packets.
This bug report may be closed.
