I noticed today while setting up my local mirror, which has a http →
https redirect, that the same issue occurs. The Debian bullseye netinst
fails due to not being able to verify the mirror's ssl certs. Since http
→ https redirects are not uncommon, this is pretty clearly a significant

a Debian package that may be submitted to Debian if there is
sufficient demand for this game. Well, if there is 2048-gnome and
2048-qt, why shouldn't there be a plain 2048 without a fancy GUI?

This seems to work on all X terminal emulators that I have tried, maybe because
they support 256 colors, but it doesn't work on the framebuffer. I will try to
fix this.
