Hi,
Now that libscrypt-kdf-dev has been in the repositories for a few months, I
think it's safe to close this "wishlist for -dev package" report.
Cheers,
- Graham
Hmm. I think that the topic of discussion has strayed a bit from this
wishlist bug for the scrypt Debian package. I've just uploaded a PR that
makes the scrypt binary use libscrypt-kdf, so it's probably best to continue
the discussion there if you're interested:
Yes, it's intentional that the executable doesn't use the library. Colin
Percival wanted to minimize changes to the build system, and also to only have
the library as an optional compile.
/pkg/libscrypt
If/when you make a -dev package, I'd be happy to work with you if there's any
upstream changes that would make the process easier.

Greetings,
We now offer binary packages as well:

with instructions at:

I'm happy to respond to bug reports.

Package: apt
Version: 1.4~beta3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
As we know, apt does not support the GPG keybox format [1]. However,
apt-key list
happily lists keys found inside keybox files without any warning or complaint.
This can lead to user confusion wherein `apt-get update` fails
how
to build reproducible packages.
