I think those two bugs are not related.
I also get that "iwl-debug-yoyo" error, but without the firmware load
error and have no problem at all using the WiFi.
For reference, the exact messages are:

This bug is still present on Squeeze. It is annoying since any pdf with
a gradient will be misrendered ! I hope a fix could be found ! Acroread
or xpdf correctly render it.

I've noticed that Network-manager cannot create Adhoc wifi anymore since the
update of dnsmasq-base (2.55 to 2.57).
When i create an adhoc, network-manager try to create it then say it's
done...

I've tried today to update my VLC installation from Squeeze to 1.1.7-2
taken from the Sid Repository and the screensaver bug is still there.
I've put the screensaver launch time to 1min and started a film with
VLC, the screensaver quickly begin and shut the screen :S

I have written a report on the VLC package, but it seem to be caused by
xdg-utils. Here's a link to the VLC supposed bug, which in fact isn't
a vlc bug.

I can see the problem occuring with fullscreen videos on VLC and
