Hi,
I guess then Qt53DExtrasConfig.cmake (and more) should have also been removed.
I'd prefer to have the removed bits brought back over removing more (to avoid
having to include them upstream).

I report this bug at qgis developpment team.
Thanks. For references: the ticket is https://issues.qgis.org/issues/17072.
But I can't reproduce the problem on a clean installation of stretch - so
this might be a local issue.

It's not really clear what in QGIS causes it and it crashes rather deep in Qt
1.6 - in new animation stuff, we don't actually use ourselves. So it might be
even a Qt bug.

Hi there,
currently it's not possible to syslog(3) messages with facility LOG_KERN

Hi there,
as pointed out in #356844 it's currently not possible to log
messages to facility kern through syslog(3).
This also affects logger: messages to kern.* are silently turned into
messages to user.*.

Hi there,
digging a bit more I found that the suspected syslog function,
which is messing up the facility is actually only used by klogd.
But that code is a local copy of syslog(3) from libc. Logging with
facility LOG_KERN is also
