Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
I made several netinstalls of Debian Buster 10.7, via Netinst-cd-images. Used
eather Graphic or non-graphic, mostly expert
case the solution was to remove the following
files/directories:
~/.nautilus
~/.gconf/%gconf-tree.xml
~/.gconf/apps/panel
Cheers,

The additional symptoms of the hang were devkit-disks-daemon and dbus-daemon
taking ~20% each of cpu:
root 14298 4.0 0.1 5048 2864
.
Thus it would perhaps be good to add a --oknodo switch to the start-stop-daemon
line in the
/etc/init.d/gkrellmd stop
part of the script.
Best regards,

xserver-xorg-video-ati? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks.
As far as I remember, I haven't encountered this or any other bugs while
using Xorg on my Radeon 9100 board. I think this bug can be closed.

export LC_ALL=C
to the beginning of the file /sbin/MAKEDEV and thus force all error messages be
in English.
I would vote for the first option as it has the least impact while fixing the
problem. The LC_COLLATE=C option is tested and works as expected in sh.

Hi again!
The LC_COLLATE=C option is tested and works as expected in sh.
Justin Pryzby was still right and I was wrong. I tried again, and it needs to be
LC_ALL=C as Justin said.
Sorry for multiple e-mails. This should be the last version of the patch from my
part.

The problem did not reoccur in 2.3.6-6, thus the bug can be considered closed.

Hei!
Thanks Kaare Hviid! Adding the suggested option AGPMode under the
Device section really made the crashes go away. glxgears works now as
expected. Sorry for false bug report, it turned out to be my ignorance
instead. No surprise here, i guess. :-)

The behaviour of the mailstat on Sarge is different than the
behaviour on the Woody and Sid. Not having summary lines per maildir in
the mailstat output is somewhat annoying, it makes the utility useless,

PS. This is first time for me to write regular expressions for sed, so
probably i broke the mailstat horribly and beyond any recognition. :-)
