The script debianize-vdrplugin expects the plugin's source directory to
be named -. Many plugin authors and package

In the skeleton init skript init.d.lsb.ex, start_daemon ist called
start_daemon -p $PIDFILE $DAEMON -- $DAEMON_OPTS
This always passes -- as first argument to my daemon. I think, the
proper
/lib/video.02...done.
and the volumes are mounted right away. So this is the workaround I use now.

I discovered this bug report when trying to find out why a Compaq
Deskpro EN would not respond to WOL after an upgrade to etch. There
still is a parallel installation of sarge on that machine that works
fine. I replaced the original version of /sbin/halt that shipped with
