I think the blank screen is due to a BTRFS hang bug in kernel 3.15 and 3.16.
BTRFS hangs then, processes go into D State, screen blanker wants to access
harddisk unblanking and hangs then to.

This still happens with systemd 208-1 from experimental and systemd 204-10.
On selecting hibernation in KDE SC 4.12.3 Kickoff menu it locks the screen
first
and then opens a dialog asking me for confirmation for hibernation.
With my user hat on I just don´t care whose fault it is, it is
ITP finally went through after Don added some additional stripping to the mail
parsing.

Given the subject I wonder what would be a good way to proceed.
I compiled a 3.5-rc4 with CONFIG_LATENCYTOP and this makes latencytop run
nicely again.
