I suggest you include the package ws-trim.el. Short description:
WS Trim is mainly useful as a minor mode that does various sorts of
whitespace trimming, but only on lines you edit. It can remove trailing
whitespace, convert leading whitespace to tabs
id3v2 doesn't handle unicode in text fields correctly. Or rather, the
problem is really that it doesn't do charset conversion to the tty
according to the locale (the charset in $LC_CTYPE). As a console
application it should use that charset for all input and output. The

Emacs 21 doesn't recognize modifiers for keys that generate symbols
wider than 8 bits. This has been observed when X is used.
E.g. on swedish keyboards, there is a key that generate § which
translates to 2215. Any modifiers pressed together
