Thanks for the information. Rather than replacing, I've added them as
alternatives (it can't hurt, after all). It is fixed in the SVN, I can
upload that soon if you wish me to do it. (unless you ask me, I'll wait
that the current freecol moves to testing).

kdetv installs its desktop file to /usr/share/applnk/Multimedia, which
is deprecated (and, for me, results in kdetv not appearing in the
avant-window-navigator menu).
It should be diverted to /usr/share/applications/kde, the standard
location for KDE desktop
