Sometimes, the touchpad/trackpoint on my x210 (no typo, it is a x201 with a new
motherboard, hence "x210", looses the settings or does not work work anymore at
all.
To fix this, I created a script like

Good day,
amule works just fine with the patch. Tested: Connecting to the
networks, searching, downloading and uploading. So it seems to be good
to apply the patch and let it through the machinery :-)
It seems that we missed the soft freeze. But is there any chance to get
an exception to get it b
Sorry for the noise :-( Please scratch the last message - somehow the
diff got lost. I'rebuilding now.
Good day,
I would like to test it in "full connectivity" mode more than happily.
Could you provide a binary package with this patch included? Else I will
try to build it myself - but no guarantee that I will succeed^^
Best regards
Michael
Hi,
the neomagic and the mach64/r128 drivers are used in many, many
Thinkpads from the Pentium 2-3 area (up to X21/A22p P3/1GHz with 512 MB
RAM). Additionally, the ATI ones were used as simple graphic chips on
servers. Even today, lots of these machines are used.

not set.
So I can't use it with the provided kernels.
Can it be enabled in the official builds?

I've the problem also with the version 0.16 found in Ubuntu 18.04. But
as a workaround, you can switch to the workbench "complete".

Hi,
sorry, didn't see the last replay :-(
It is not related to the lid switch - it happened also if the laptop was
open all the time. The problem was also when stretch got stable, but
didn't try it again in the last three months or so. I'll retest it in a
few days.

Ok,
a
pulseaudio --kill
pulseaudio --start
works if the rmmod/modprobe thing was done on a freshly started system
(when internal sound worked), but it is NOT usable to get the internal
sound running again if the system was on standby.
Ok, on a reboot (and working sound), it says
root@michis-toshiba:~# dmesg | grep -i hda

Still applies on 4.9.0-2.
Interesting thing: if I do a
rmmod -f snd_hda_codec_conexant
modprobe snd_hda_codec_conexant
while the sound does NOT work,
I get
