Dear Maintainer,
I've installed "mini-dinstall" on "bullseye" (which brought version 0.7.0)
I found out that my "incoming/" folder became inaccessible:
- I've used permissions of 0755, to allow access from web-server script
(note: for some reason, I didn't get Cascardo's comment and only found
it now by revisiting the bug again)
About the issue itself...
What's really needed is some way to *opt-out* of the default initrd
generation in the postinst script.

Our use-case is exactly as the original report:
* We debootstrap into temporary folder
* Than we configure apt inside this folder and use "apt-get install."
* The post-install of "kdump-tools" fails
The fix
Just installed the kernel provided by Ben Hutchings.
The server now boots normally and appear to function OK.
