I've tried to look at this a bit more closely and it seems to me that what
is missing is an alternative sqlite related dependency:
dep: default-mysql-client OR postgresql-client OR mariadb-client ??OR
SQLite related??
I think there are 3 possibilities:
- sqlite3
- php-sqlite3
- libsqlite3
I
sense is that it is so uncommon.

* What led up to the situation?
I want to add PostfixAdmin to an existing installation
postfix/dovecot already using Sqlite3.

Package: gitlab
Version: 11.4.9+dfsg-2~bpo9+1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
gitlab could not be installed.
carrierwave 1.3.1 is installed but it's looking for 1.2.3. And there is
no 1.2.3 version in Debian.
Could not find gem 'carrierwave (= 1.2.3)'

I have looked at the bug report, and I would suggest
3.2.0-4-kirkwood
Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)
Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
Thanks in advance.
