I have "Allow bold text" switched on but I've tried it off and that
setting appears to work correctly.
After some testing, I've found that it's enough to "Edit Current Colour
Scheme" and then to click "Use Custom Palette" on and off for it to work
until I restart the program.

Same problem here. I upgraded while still running firefox 1.5. Started
up iceweasel and only had the adress bar working. Then I closed
