Actually, the jigdo GUI *can* also download normal files via HTTP or FTP.
I'm going to close this bug unless there's a problem with that
functionality.

the problem does not occur with upstream's package because they
build everything natively under Windows, and in that case, libstdc++ runs
some configure tests to determine whether LFS is present.
It'd be great if you could apply this patch soon!
