I've got the same thing happening here. Doesn't matter if the LDAP
server is local or remote.
Browsing the servers, any number of password prompts are fine.

I'm having real problems getting mod_layout working, even with simple Perl
scripts. It's working fine with HTML and HTML/PHP hybrid pages.
If I don't include a "AddOutputFileter LAYOUT pl" line, mod_layout
doesn't seem to trigger

about that anyway - it may reappear as a problem with another phone in
future.
