i believe that this report is obsolete, since udev-mtab is in rcS and
irda-utils is in e.g. rc2, so it gets executed afterwards.
i just had a machine where irda-utils just worked fine.

i can confirm the behaviour of rxvt-unicode (and rxvt-unicode-ml) on
ppc with czech and german UTF8 locales. i came across it when reading
emails and the terminal crashed with my MUA. for the time being, i use:

i can confirm Luca's observation on ppc.
so i downloaded 0.9.12, put the debian-directory from 0.9.11 into its
directory, dpkg-buildpackaged and installed it. now the workspaces work
again as expected. you can download it here:
