Current package on buster and testing segfaults immediately. 64 bit.
I have been running testing for a while and I think this is a recently
introduced problem.

I found a workaround. Download the latest source from sourceforge
./configure --disable-credssp --disable-smartcard
make
make install
Worked for me. It looks like the developers need to fix the fallback
routines if credssp fails.
