Hi,
I got the feedback that the issue can be reproduced on Ubuntu with
python2.4-dev version 2.4.4-2ubuntu7
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python2.4/+bug/124549).
Reading the Debian changelog from 2.4.4-4 I see that a merge from
Ubuntu happened:
python2.4 (2.4.4-4) unstable;
.
Greetings,
Stefan

Could you also try downgrading glib packages to 2.10 from

Package: libpango1.0-0

When linking something against Gtk (which in turn uses Pango), there's

Package: libstdc++6
Version: 4.1.1-13
Severity: important
I have problems with version 4.1.1ds1-13 of package libstdc++6 as this
breaks some older applications. If you have the sources, you can
recompile, if not ... what is the suggested solution?
What happens is this:

Severity: important
fig2dev expects X11's rgb.txt at /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt but in recent
x11-common packages it's located at /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt. When
converting a .fig which includes XPMs to a PDF, you get errors like the

After updating from samba 3.0.23a-1 to 3.0.23b-1 (the smb.conf file has
not been changed) samba does not start anymore but immediately segfaults
and the panic action script sends me the following email (after already
