Package: proftpd Version: 1.3.0-22 Severity: normal I have been trying to get proftpd to work with my ldap setup for ages. I eventually gave in and installed pure-ftpd, which worked out of the box. But after a while I started to miss features that only proftpd has, and thus I once more tried to

I guess you have more than enough reporters of this bug now, but this package also rendered my system totally in the dark. Most services died when restarted, and users can't logon. Moving ldap behind compat in nsswitch.conf made some apps more happy, but still no joy. Had to downgrade to 238-1.2

Hi, I don't have Debian on this computer, but I'd like to note that on Ubuntu, I only need to downgrade xserver-xorg-core to get my dual-head/xinerama working again. It's _not_ the radeon driver that's the problem. Of course, the Debian bug might be a totally different problem, but I doubt it.
