Bug#485990: ascii(7): Apostroph is accent in UTF-8 environment

2008-06-27 Thread Stuart Brady
tch for ascii.7 that I originally submitted used \(aq -- I later commented that I thought \' should work, but I was mistaken.) BTW, man pages can also be rendered as html, dvi, ps, etc. using -Tps, etc. (The html rendering could perhaps use some love, although AFAICT, it still seems better than the various man2html scripts...) I'm having exactly the same problem, building gcc-sparc-linux. I ran 'tpkg-install sparc-linux', which should install the target's libc headers itself. -- Stuart Brady -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#357166: tpkg-install-libc: fails to download packages

2006-06-13 Thread Stuart Brady
I had the same problem, with sparc-linux. Setting TPKG_SERVER=ftp://ftp.uk.debian.org in the environment when running tpkg-install-libc fixed this for me. This seems to be because the mirror was split, and ftp.debian.org no longer holds all architectures. -- Stuart Brady -- To UNSUBSCRIBE
