proftpd crashes on SSL/TLS connect since upgrading from
pam_mysql.so shows libpam.so.0 which contains pam_get_item()
as dependency. Also a simple ld pam_mysql.so does no longer warn about
missing symbols.
I have not tested it as PAM module though.
this patch works pretty fine.
