I can (alas) also confirm this bug.
Having a fully encrypted home and using libpam-encfs to do the mount
operation at login time, I am not able to do a login with pam-encfs
enabled since the libfuse2 upgrade to 2.8.4-1.1.
With the last version (2.8.4-1.1) I can mount the encrypted fs with -o
