statically to be through the external NIC. Removing the routers keyword
from /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf did exactly this.

For those on Debian stable, here is the procedure I used to compile netatalk
2.2.1-1 from the unstable repository using Debian 6.0.3 stable libraries.

reported to fix the error (in libatalk/vfs/ea.c).
This patch has been committed to trunk by Frank Lahm but 2.2.1 was already out.
Could this patch be applied to the Squeeze release?

Hi Jan,
A suggestion that ps-watcher start at init 99 rather than 40. At 40, it
starts before commonly watched processes like apache and so generates
spurious warning
Thanks for the fix, guys.

Hi,
ps-watcher does not create a pidfile on its own, and start-stop-daemon
does not (by default) do so either. Because there is no pidfile, the
initscript stop command does not function.
Here is a patch that creates the

Hello,
This is a follow up to bug #426409

different from the documentation in the file itself and in the

I'd like to request that the patch be incorporated into the Debian

Our office server had an ext3 volume remount itself read-only after an
error in handing a disk write. This is the first time this error or
anything like it has occurred. Another ext3 file system on the same
/netatalk file
includes the line CNID_METAD_RUN=yes so it is already set up to run
the CNID agent.
