I found that I do not need the net-driver disk because the root (or the
boot) disk recognizes my network card. However, it still freezes at
various places. I tried it for more than 20 times but all failed.

Where should I report it, then? I followed the "official" installation
manual from www.debian.org. Shouldn't they at least remove the section
2.2.6 (Installation Media: Un*x or GNU system) for people who might
spend hours and hours of useless work?
